You would have to run the following commands at uninstall:

sc stop 'Service name"
sc delete "Service name"

I haven't used IF for a bit so I cannot remember if you can run commands at uninstall for sure.... :oops:

AFAIK there is no way to have the uninstaller remove files that were created after the initial installer ran as it keeps a record of the files it installed only. At least I have been unable to find a way to do it... :|

You can add a reg file by creating a batch file to run the Windows command line to import the reg file using the built in commands functionality.

EX:

reg import 'yourRegfile.reg'

Quick question? Is the dll 32 or 64 bit? I'm not sure if InstallForge is 'bit aware' or not, but maybe that's the reason?

OK, I figured out for me at least I can do the following and it works OK. In the InstallForge folder (for me, c:\program files (x86)\solicus\installforge) I created a file called proj_licence.rtf and made the file read only (Right click and check read-only) and now Install Forge opens without freezi...

I have a similiar issue, though the file size doesn't increase by that much. When I open my project file, InstallForge just freezes and I have to end the task.
