As my knowledge
Use environment variables:
For Program Files use %ProgramFiles%.
For user roaming data: %APPDATA%\ (backslash after APPDATA is important).
Example path: %ProgramFiles%\...\MyProgramData and %APPDATA%\MyProgramData.

Absolutely! You can execute the scripts directly. Just double-click any .ps1 file for PowerShell execution (assuming default settings). .bat files can be run similarly.
