Windows 10

You have trouble using InstallForge? Then this is the right place for you.

Hi out there,

I'm running Windows 10 and I cannot run my own setup created with InstallForge. Windows 10 became quite popular in the meantime, so having a non working setup for Windows 10 users would probably mess things up. However, how can I add Windows 10 support?

Regards

Hello,
you can enable Windows 10 support by adding Windows 8 support (the InstallForge setup itself also runs on Windows 10 ;) ).

Thanks for your reply, Soner! Unfortunately, that isn't working either - the reason for my question as I've tried it. I'm using Win 10 Pro x64.

Hello,
then please activate Windows 8 AND Windows Server 2008. Now it should work.

Another problem just turned out!  My application is about 5 Gigabytes (uncompressed) large and contains about 80,000 files. Unfortunately, after some time through the building process, it just crashes and tells me that something (o wow, obviously xd) went wrong..? :geek:

I have everything set right to support every operating system, even windows 8.
No matter what I do it keeps telling me that my operating system is not supported.
:| Any other Suggestions :?:
