Hi. When I create a setup file, it doesn't put anything in the details tab. I'd like it to have my company name, application name, etc. Am I missing something, or does the program not add these?

Hello,
which details tab are you referring to?

When you have compiled the executable file, you can right-click it and go to Properties. There is a details tab on there. The information is usually included in the application's manifest file.

It's useful to have this information, otherwise Windows flags to setup file as having no publisher.

Hello,
setups created with InstallForge have a default manifest which can not be modified within the InstallForge Environment. However you can use external tools like http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/ to do that.

I tried that; it rendered the installation program unusable.

We are going to release a new update for InstallForge supporting modifications of the setup executable resource files with external programs. Stay tuned!
