Hi,

InstallForge works great so far. I am stuck in signing the installer with a digital certificate.

I sign my_installer_file.exe with the following command (it is a standard procedure):

signtool.exe sign /a my_installer_file.exe

Then, if I execute the installer, it hangs. It consumes around 30% of the CPU. It the temp directory, there is a file Setup.cab that keeps growing, it did not stop at 2GB!

my_installer_file.exe is working perfectly before signing it with singtool.exe. It just hangs after signing it.
Is there any solution?

I am having the same problem. I have also tried using ksign from kSoftware
and have the same problem.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I can confirm that I am experiencing the same issue. Without a solution, I'll need to use a different installer. That's a shame, this tool is really nice.

I am having the exact same issue. When the installer is signed, it hangs, but when it's not signed it installs just fine. I cannot ship my product without signing it, so I'd really appreciate it if this were fixed. Thanks!
