Silent/Unattended Update

Hello I was wondering if there was a way to run the updater silently and unattended. I already have gotten the exe to wait for the updater to run and finish before continuing but I would like the update to run in the background and automatically go through the required steps. Would really appreciate the help and thank you in advance.
